At the top of rush hour this morning, I-85 is completely shut down in one direction and blocked by a firetruck. Traffic in the other lane has no real reason to be so backed up.
I really feel for those who are involved. I am also feeling it for those who have to put up with this crap, like accidents aren't a daily occurrence here in Spartanburg, because we drive entirely too fast, so go where? There's nothing here, but warehouses and bars that close at 11pm. Now some poor slob making less then 50% poverty level ($15/hr) has to listen to a human resources generalist give him crap about being late.
