FOR NORTHWESTERN LAURENS...NORTHEASTERN GREENVILLE...SPARTANBURG...
NORTH CENTRAL ANDERSON...CENTRAL CHEROKEE...NORTHEASTERN PICKENS AND
NORTHERN UNION COUNTIES...

At 719 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Gaffney to 5 miles east of Spartanburg to 3 miles
northeast of Greenville Downtown to 6 miles northeast of Pickens,
moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Greenville Downtown, Spartanburg, Easley, Gaffney, Greenville
Eastside, West Greenville, Greer, Mauldin, Taylors and Simpsonville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Scattered trees and power lines will be blown down in the warned
area. Seek shelter inside an interior room.
