Midday Collision on 29 Main Street Leaves One in center lane and another in the Trees

Spartanburg, SC: (Hillcrest between Avant St and Hillcrest Apartments) One man was lying on the pavement with his car in the middle of East Main Street during the midday and another had his SUV up on the right shoulder with the trees today.

Driving in the area became more hazardous as the ambulance approached a pickup with an improperly secured load began dropping gutters onto the roadway. The driver of the black pickup was good enough to pick up the load.

An unidentified witness states that speed may have been partly to blame.
