Alleged Multi-Car Collision with Entrapment and Individual Pinned Under Vehicle

BOILING SPRINGS, SC: Reports of a multi-vehicle collision with entrapment and another person being pinned under an automobile brought many neighbors together out of concern and frustration at the corner of Paris Bridge and N. Hill near Davis near Route Nine in Boiling Springs.


A neighbor whom lives on a side street mentioned "You know -- It is 45 [MPH] over there and people are always traveling much faster like 50...60. Sometimes, it is difficult to get out of this dead end cul-de-sac"

State Highway Patrol was investigating the scene and Spartanburg County was working along with local fire and emergency medical while many looked on.


Based on witness statements, a pickup truck collided with a sedan. The pickup was on top of the sedan at one point.


There were no sirens, no noise. Nothing could be heard except the wailing and crying of a woman in grief, as the family members and friends of the accident victims arrived. Someone took her aside from the scene to console her.

Civilian automobiles were blocking and lining the southbound lane of Paris Bridge. The emergency flashers gave an eerie glow against the blue and red lights of rescue units and law enforcement, shoulder to shoulder neighbors and friends of the victims bore witness of the scene as a Thanksgiving evening moon hung quietly above.

"When neighbors find out someone needs help. We respond. These cars belong to us, the neighborhood people." stated a neighbor

Neighbors and good Samaritans from the immediate area also were on the scene before the police arrived. In large part approximately twenty people waited for news near a dance studio.


"This is NOT the first time this has happened. We just had another accident happen here not more then a week or so ago." stated an unidentified local resident.

There was no official statement, investigation continues. There is no official statement that anyone died, but normally draping an automobile is not a good sign.
