SPARTANBURG, SC: As the city woke this morning, approx 5:30am there was a constant chain of strong thunder and lightening. The brief but strong storm produced uncommonly loud thunder and strong lightning, with very little wind and occasional driving rain. Weather map shows, rain radar and lightning strikes.
